Weronika Jurkiewicz (1992) is a writer/director and producer whose work focuses on intimate, local stories as a way to comment on larger social issues, usually touching on subjects related to social inequalities, environmental issues, and women’s rights.
Weronika is an alumna of DocNomads European Joint Masters Program in Documentary Filmmaking delivered by a consortium of three universities in Portugal, Hungary and Belgium. She also graduated from the Dual BA Program between Sciences Po Paris and Columbia University in New York where she studied social sciences and creative writing non-fiction. She’s a proud alumna of Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong.
